Chris received his Bachelor's in Vocal and Double Bass Performance from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In addition to playing in show-bands for Carnival Cruise Lines and Ringling Brothers Circus, he has played in the pit for professional music productions like "I Love a Piano" and "Always Patsy Cline." he has also played with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, and served as Acting Principal Bassist for the Altoona Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of the Alleghenies, and the Bedford Symphony Orchestra. A prolific jazz musician, Chris has also participated in the Jazz In Your Face Big Band, East Side Jazz, the Judi Figel Trio and the Chris Conte Trio.
In addition to his work in orchestra pits, Chris has performed onstage in collegiate operettas and professional musicians, including his role as Chip DiPalma in the original 2009 cast of "Buddy's Tavern."
Throughout his career as a musician, Chris has taught electric and double bass, voice, musicianship and music theory to students of all ages and performance levels.
